Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) help architects with aesthetic spatial design? Or will AI make the profession of architects obsolete? In my work "Synesthetic AI", I try to address these questions in an experimental way.
The work invites you to embark on the discovery of the connection between music, visual art, architecture, and artificial intelligence. It shows comprehensibly how AI works and what potentials it can offer for the aesthetic design processes of architects. The work is artistic research where the focus is on collaborative design with artificial intelligence. The emerging dialogue results from a new integrative approach to spatial design, in which the AI learns the radical subjectivity of a person through form design and incorporates both conscious and unconscious decisions into its own designs.
