Everyday Superintelligence
A research project exploring the future relationship between humans and artificial intelligence in everyday life, focusing on social and ethical implications.

Everyday Superintelligence
ILEKlab 1244
This research project, conducted during the summer semester 2020 at the Institute for Lightweight Structures, explores the future relationship between humans and artificial intelligence in everyday life. The project investigates how AI will transform our daily routines, social interactions, and ethical frameworks.
Key aspects of the research include:
- The evolution from weak AI (specialized programs) to potential superintelligence
- The concept of technological singularity and its implications
- AI as social actors in human networks
- The complex relationship networks formed by interconnected AIs
- Privacy and data protection in the age of AI
- Smart City concepts and their surveillance implications
- AI's role in creative processes
- The responsibility framework for AI decisions
- The monopolization of AI development by private companies
- Trust and relationship building with AI systems
The project includes a comprehensive booklet documenting the research process, findings, and potential applications of AI in architectural practice. Through this work, we aim to bridge the gap between theoretical AI concepts and practical applications while addressing critical ethical considerations.
